lyrics
Grab a beer wind in my hair
Take a ride accross the flats
Mexican air conditioning
Baby this is where its at
Its so fine in my 65 ripping up the state line
The 5.0 in my rear view they never gonna catch me
Barracuda this ladies built for speed she’s my
Barracuda she got everything I needs whoa ho yeh
375 horsepower
Got the lines and got the class
They can call her a pony car
But she can haul some ass
Its so right roaring 95 heading cross the desert night
A flat tyre and a busted hose you never gonna slow down
Barracuda this ladies built for speed come on
Barracuda she got everything that I could ever need yeah he
A wildcat ain’t worth all that you can keep your mustang
A GTO may be ready to go but they ain’t got the soul
From coast to coast shining shore to shining shore
Whisper it quietly
They don’t make em like thet anymore

Cavern Deep do a very good job of molding this record to suit their concept: it is dark, strange, cramped, slightly hallucinatory, and... wet. Kudos to the psychedelic exploratory songwriting, which expertly feels like you are exploring the dark earth rather than space & time. Riffs = check, heaviness = check, etc., but the guys should really pat themselves on the back for expert mood-crafting, which in my book is the tougher thing to nail. pinkytheent
CVK delivers again with another batch of heavy, fuzzy, doom rock. On this outing, CVK has crafted an even darker album than 2020's Klaustrophobic, with more confident songwriting. A varied group of songs, both instrumentally and vocally, this release gets my highest recommendation. Fave tracks: No Refunds, The Evil One, & Flowering the Midden Heap. matecklund
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
The surprisingly comical new video from roaring metal group Red Fang is a tip of the hat to the original “Predator.” Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 12, 2016
Every song on this LP crushes but that cover of Born Too Late is one of the best covers I have ever heard! Hailz to the Hellhookah! https://metaldevastationradio.com/ Zachary Moonshine
